Makeup Academy Launches in Uppermill

A first for Uppermill, Twin Peaks Makeup Academy has now opened on the High Street. Set over one floor with an abundance of natural daylight, the training centre offers a bright and airy makeup studio and a further rest area with resources and computers.

Twin Peaks was founded by the principle Tarron Pearson who has over 15 years experience ranging from retail cosmetic makeup to professional freelance for television, photography, fashion and theatre work. Tarron lectures in media makeup delivering BTEC and VTCT qualifications. She also works as a technical expert for VTCT the main awarding body for Media Makeup in the UK where she developed and collaborated on the new national Media Makeup qualifications levels 1,2 & 3. In addition she is also a national and international judge for the world famous World Skills Vocational Competitions in Media Makeup and recently took the post of Cornish Skills Challenge Judge for media makeup.
